Hello!
We had our hardwood in our histroic house completely and professionally refinished about a year ago. We have some scratches to attend to now (dogs). I've read up quite a bit and am trying my hand at doing this myself. What is the best technique for the first part, sanding out the scratches (they are not deep but deep enough I can feel them with my fingernail) and what is the best technique for applying the poly and feathering it all back in naturally. There is no color stain, just water-based poly and I have a leftover can of the same poly they worked with.
