Hi all,

I have finally got my foot on the property ladder and I am not sure if many of you have noticed this, but the whole home ownership and renovation thing is an expensive business, so I am here, like many others no doubt, to get some advice on how to do as much of the work as I can for myself.

Well, there are various tradesman in here. I, for one, am an electrician. Too, I've been a homeowner for 32 years....so I might be able to help you out a bit.
