Do I need a metal door

Hi Folks,

What are the requirements for metal doors?

We currently have two metal doors separating our garage from our kitchen and basement respectively. We want to build a mud room/vestibule between the kitchen and the basement and remove both of those doors. Would a metal door between the vestibule and the garage be sufficient?
