I have a Hotpoint DC28 Dishwasher which I had a problem with the dispenser tray on. It would not open.
I took the door apart and tested the solonoid which was pen circuit and the controller was outputting 180V So that means it must be the solenoid!
Ok... New tray ordered and installed, tested on quick cycle and hey presto it opened! Smiley face!!! So loaded the dishwasher and ran it.... tray didnt open!
I took the door apart again and the solenoid opens when I apply external 240V to it but now the damned controller doesnt seem to be outputting the power to open it. Am I missing somethign or do I need to get a controller now? If so, what is going to go afterwards? Next washing mashine will be a Miele, everything else is!!!!
Any help would be appreciated!
