Culligan Medallist series 45 ... error code E1

My water softener keeps malfunctioning. It shows code E 1 on the display. I have taken it apart, cleaned and lubed everything and it will be ok for a while but the problem always returns. Does anyone know what parts would be needed to correct the problem. Thanks, Terry
