Afternoon ladies and gents… looking for your help / input on the following issue :
2 years ago in lockdown I replaced the coping stones along an angled firewall on the back of my house (that separates mine and my neighbours conservatories). I also fixed broken roof tiles and repositioned the lead flashing that had come away and was causing a leak in both roofs … all of which has been fine since.
However, I noticed yesterday that the whole thing has now slid down by approx 2” !
Did I need to include a damp course ?
Did I use the wrong cement mix ?
Were these coping stones too heavy for this job?
Clearly I’ve made a major faux pas … so all help / direction much appreciated ref being able to correct this !
Cheers, Pat
