I have a 1/2” special reversible Black and Decker Drill model #689 Type A. The power switch is no longer available from B&D and was wondering if there is a replacement from somewhere else. Do not feel like discarding the Drill as it is a beast when working correctly.

The switch will be available its just tracking it down which takes time and patience. Tool hire companies stock spares; I once bought a switch for one of my Bosch drills from a hire company.
