we are on well water and instead of using a water softener we have used a water conditioner (I presume its cal/mag) for many years. I have noticed the kitchen faucet little filter now constantly needs rinsing out as the residue of the conditioner builds up in there and never has done this before. Does the unit itself that the water conditioner is placed in have a filter that perhaps has worn out? I am calling the plumber Monday but now really worried that something terrible has happened
