The best carpet for stairs?

we have just moved to a new house and our 2 year old kid is somehow have in her too much energy. and we would like to make if possible all areas carpeted, what do you think is the best carpet for stairs? and how much it would cost?

you can use the carpet they called line up carpet. Just make sure that the carpet is totally fixed to the floor to prevent slippage that cause accident
