Don't worry, it's just solid brick!
Hi,
I'm new here and would really appreciate someone's help.
I'm putting up some curtain tieback hooks. First side was fine (internal wall), but the other side seems different. I think I've hit something different after 2cm. It's an adjoining wall with the next house. In case it's relevant, the UPVC windows are wall to wall (you can see the surround in the photo). Same on the other side though, which was fine.
What could it be? How do I find out? How do I work out if I might be able to drill somewhere else? I don't want to end up with loads of holes!
Thanks,
Lindesay
