Smelly sump pump and drain

Suggestions on using something other than bleach, to fix pump of bad odors. I've used bleach, vinegar, Apple cider vinegar, and other concoctions i just threw together but nothing seems to work!

Make sure that there is enough water in the trap present. not that much but enough to cover the pipes and drain lines. and the smell, to get rid of it concoct a bleach solution (diluted) pour it in the basin until the float switch activates. Rubbing down the sides of the basin will help you get rid of the bad smell present.
