Hi

Our summerhouse (glorified shed) is looking a little sad so I'd like to paint it and make it a bit prettier. A few years ago, my kids went a bit mad in there with some dark water based paints (black, blue, orange etc) and I need some advice on how to cover this 'graffiti' with a light coloured paint without it showing through. Is there a special primer I can use? Or will I need to do a gazillion coats of paint to cover it?

Thanks

Hey Betty,
I'd use some soap and water and wipe down the shed. By aggressively cleaning it with a sponge you should be able to get rid of some of the paint. However, I'd also suggest using rubbing alcohol if the paint still isn't coming off.
