Attached is a picture of the current kitchen sink in the home. The disposal has piping down to a p-trap and then climbs uphill before going to the drain. Any advice on this set up? I have no knowledge of this area and wanted to make sure this will work. Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

A rule of thumb, with DIY is, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
So first question is, "Does it work?"
If it does, just close the cupboard door and forget about it, apart from checking the trap now....... and then, "periodically."
If it isn't working, tell us what's happening.
