Nest thermostat - adding C wire with Lux bridge - need help

first post here, I have a Nest Thermostat that needs a C wire, instead of running the whole wire I found out about another option, the Lux power bridge. Seems like a simple install until I went to the basement, turned off the power to the HVAC unit and saw this(pics below), definitely not as clean/clear as the video had showed or the instructions were all the cables nicely go into a breadboard in the unit. Can anyone tell me if using a power bridge is even an option with this?
