This problem seems to be happening every time I have a BBQ. When the refrigerator door is opened a lot, the refrigerator stops cooling. The freezer section loses some cold but it definitely gets hot on the frig side. There isn't anything blowing from the freezer vent into the refrigerator. The motor runs continuously and it does not appear to go through a defrost cycle when this happens.
In the past, I transferred the food from both the frig and freezer to the spare frig in the garage. Then turn off the KA and turn it on 24 hours later. That seems to solve the problem until the next BBQ.
Only problem is, I don't have the backup frig in the garage any more. Can someone help right away before I loose the leftover ribs, chicken and hamburgers?
