Hotpoint Dishwasher

I have a Hotpoint LTB 4B019 dishwasher. Recently we have been turning it on, shutting the door and after a few minutes of inactivity, we open the door to find the power light flashing and the first and third light on. Any ideas what this fault is?

I believe so. We have been pushing it hard shut.

Sorry for the late reply. I will try to make a guess. If the Hotpoint dishwasher is feels hot or anything like it, even if it doesn't turn on, send it back to the manufacturer. If there is no heat whatsoever, but the blinking lights are on, it's probably an issue with the overload relay. The overload relay protects the electric motor from too much electricity. So it's possible that it's tripping the flow of the current because it's not working properly.
