Just had our quartz counter-tops installed.
One seam aprox. 2ft in length it vary in evenness from side to side.
See attached hard to get it showing in pictures.
In the middle approx. 10in it is good, from there closer to the wall it is so so.
The real problem is where the middle good section ends to the edge there is a lip.
You can catch your thumbnail very easy on this.
The installer when doing the install even pointed this out.
He said he uses a razor blade to run along the counter to see how much of a lip there is.
He left with putting a note on the acceptance letter about the issue before I signed.
We left it for a few days to see if we could live with it.
We went not with the cheapest company by any means, we don't expect a good job but a great job.
The rest of the install is great.
They sent the installer back and pretty much said that there isn't anything he can do with it.
I talked to the Manufacture Caesarstone and they mentioned that when the install company cuts it to size that is
when they do a trial fit.
So it would seem, pardon the pun, they sent it out knowing what was there.
Any opinions?
Thanks
James
