My Vax vacuum cleaner "died" yesterday. I will not mourn it as it has been pretty useless since new, despite friends' swearing by theirs! Perhaps I got a "Friday afternoon job ..."? Anyway, I now need to buy another cleaner and wonder if anyone had bought one in Portugal and could tell me what make they bought and what they thought of it - good or bad? I was thinking of a maximum of €150, but hopefully less than that. I would prefer a bagless one (or a "canvas" bag one like the Vax which you just empty and re-use) as I don't want the continual expense of buying bags. One that came with a brush would be useful too, as we don't have that many rugs. Any advice gratefully received.
