Span table loads?

Hi. I'm looking at a span table. The top part of table shows series of loads. 0.25kn, 0.25-0.5 kn, etc. But at the bottom it says imposed load no more thT 1.5 kn. What is different of the two loads. In the section of loads below. 0.5kn. Can I still impose a load of 1.5kn as it says at bottom of table
