Yesterday I had my septic tank pumped and now that it's empty, I've noticed that there's a constant flow into it. Is this normal? It's not a drip, more of a trickle and this happens at times when I know nobody is using any water.
I can't hear water running from any toilet or sink. I have noticed, though, that my water pump runs (maybe about once an hour) for about 20 seconds even when there's no water usage. I have a water softener that will show gallons per hour when water is running but it does display 0 GPH. I have even emptied both toilets and then shut off water to each toilet to no avail. There is only one drain going into the septic tank.
