Hey Guys,
I have new upstairs neighbors whose cigarrete smoke is pouring through the laundry room and bathroom, causing my wife and I to have very irritated throats and nasal passages. I can even taste it on my tongue. These are two young "adults" who are living together. I use the term, "adults" very loosely.
I need to start sealing things off. The largest opening is where the dryer exhaust pipe goes through the wall. I was wondering what is the best thing to use to seal around the pipe? I'm concerned about heat. The hole in the wall allows about 1/4" of space between it and the 4" exhaust pipe. I assume the answer would be spray foam, but is there a special kind that can handle heat?
Thanks much!
