Hi, I had no idea where to post, so apologies if wrong again.
We had a brand new Hot tub fitted about 5 weeks ago and the installer connected it to our outside 13amp box (as it stated could be used).
about a week into using it the fuse went, it actually melted.
Had our electrician round who stated it should've had its own connection with RCD's etc
I did query this with the installer, but he said the manual stated plug& play which it did. Anyway, long story shortish. lol
We had a summerhouse fitted (in another post) and a 6mm armour cable will be run from our meter to it, then onto the tub.
Great all well and good. But my real question is.....
Since the tub has been standing unused with the water still in, I'm not sure what I need to do to run it again, should I add anything special (other than Chlorine granules) before use, please?
Mods...please move if not correct.
