Building on a slab.

I’m looking to build a 32x42 pole barn on a slab. What are the issues with anchoring the eight 6x6’s to the slab? I can‘t bury them, nor could I have sunk them before laying the slab due to the configuration. I can’t seem to post a picture, but it will be almost identical to the one here.

Also, my contractor wants to lay a new slab on top of an existing slab while wet. This seems odd. Any input please?
