Amana Refrigerator Water/Ice not working

So as the title says, the water and ice dispenser is not working. The lights are on on the display panel and everything else appears to be working just fine. We changed the water filter and we can see water flowing through it and the ice maker is making ice. When we push the dispenser lever it is not making the electronic sound it would when it is working correctly. I suspect it is some component in the control panel that has shorted out. Would love to know if someone has come across this an knows what to replace.
