Hi,
Im planning to paint much of the interior of our home and wanted some basic feedback on how I a strategy.
I was planning to prep the wall with the 120 grit sandpaper before painting but there are quite a few problem areas (gouges, raised plaster from a stove installation etc) that will need extra attention particularly around the chimney breasts.
So the plan was to give a final clean up, treat areas in question with a pva solution, fill any large holes and refine corners with a general purpose plaster and then (maybe) skim the whole surface. Id then do a final sanding before painting.
Maybe the skimming step is overkill, but would really like to get the best surface possible.
Any general advice/thoughts?
Thanks
