I'm new to this forum and am hoping the 'hive mind' can help solve a furnace wiring puzzle. I'm putting a 90's era Dayton (3E404B) natural gas unit heater in my garage and cannot figure out the 24volt side of the safety/thermostat/valve system. When I bought the unit most of the wiring had been disconnected and pulled out, so finding what goes where has been a challenge.
I've made a simple schematic that shows the existing connections. The drawing DOES NOT show any of the 115 line voltage wiring, which I have a handle on. The mystery is re-establishing the circuit that passes between the safety devices, gas valve, thermostat, fan relay switch, and transformer. The one that throws me the most is the limit switch, which has a third wire coming out of it
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
