I’m trying to put up two awnings (each about 25kg) onto pebble dash but it turns out that we have breeze block underneath. Will be great to get some feedback on what I plan to do.
- Use anchor bolts of the same dimensions as the expansion bolts provided as they should just screw into the same holes
- Chip off all of the render around the bolts so they line up flush on the breeze blocks
- Reseal the exposed breeze block that will go under the bolts - best way to do this?
- redo pebble dash around the bolts
I’ve attached pictures that show the start of the exposed breeze block and bracket.
