Light kit for Hampton Bay ceiling fan

(I no longer have the instruction manual for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan).

I've replaced all 4 light-bulb sockets and the 2-wire chain pull-switch.

I've connected one wire from each socket to the white wire hanging down from the ceiling fan. I then connected the other wire from each socket to the black wire hanging down from the ceiling fan.

Now, how do I connect wires on the chain-pull switch?

I use wire nuts.

*It usually is a blue wire for the light feed. Regardless, keep the white
wires connected as you have them. Disconnect the black wires and connect
them to one of the wires on the switch. Connect the other wire on the
switch to the wire coming down from the fan.

I doubt that the instruction manual would have details on how to rewire the
light kit.

Home Depot started to sell Hampton Bay replacement parts? Are these 1-1 replacements or some functionally similar OEM parts? I looked for a Hampton Bay blade couple years ago and parts were virtually non-existent. It was easier to buy a new fan, which is what I've done...

But, yes, the pull-chain switch should connect between the black wire coming down from the fan and the black wires of the individual sockets tied together.

Before I turn the power on, is this correct:

One wire-nut connects one wire from each of the sockets, one wire from the pull-chain switch and one wire coming down from the fan.

Another wire-nut connects the other wire from each of the sockets.

A wire-nut connects the other wire from the pull-chain switch to the other wire coming down from the fan.

The first wire-nut connects one brown wire from each of 4 light-bulb sockets, one black wire from the pull-chain switch and the white wire coming down from the body of the ceiling fan

The second wire-nut connects the other brown wire from each of the 4 light-bulb sockets.

The third wire-nut connects the other black wire from the pull-chain switch to the white wire coming down from the body of the ceiling fan.

The light kit is wired directly to the house current (not to a wall switch).

The lights are controlled by the pull-chain switch.
The lights should come on regardless of whether the fan is on or off.

I figured it out.

When I wired it correctly and turned on the power:

I did NOT get shocked (i.e., electrocuted)
I WAS shocked that the fan and lights actually worked!!!!
