House Moving

The two-story house diagonally across from where I grew up was moved
several miles to it's present spot. The basement is not moved (you
probably knew that). Sometimes the house is cut into sections.
Coordination with the utility companies is also needed as some
temporary removal of power lines, etc., in the path may be needed.

Apparantly the moving process can be done with little structural
and/or visible to the house: the people who lived in the house were a
little picky about things: had holes drilled through the table legs so
the cords to the table lamps would no droop over the edge.

In the case of a DIY, you would have to install WHS as a new install first and get it up and running, then try swapping the data drives in and doing a system re-install and see if it works. This would allow you to keep the HP system drive in case it doesnt work and you have to move the drives back. You would have to make sure the system drive is cleaned off and no data resides there before moving the data drives. Its probably worth a try.
