Hi guys,

If I bang a copper rod into the ground to act as an earth, what's the simplest way of testing its effectiveness without having to blow 300 quid on a meter for the purpose?

The problem is, pure copper seems to oxidise and be less of an earth over
time, depending on the soil of course.
