Accidentally flushed a big, clogging, plastic object. How to get it out?

I accidentally knocked a plastic tongue scraper into my toilet without
realizing it and unwittingly flushed it down. Now that it's stuck somewhere
in the pipes, the toilet is clogged. Plunging won't pull it out so I need
to try something drastic. Any suggestions on what I could do to retieve it,
or any pointers on what part of the toilet I should dissasemble to get at
it?
