Are these lintels on an existing building with a load imposed?
What is above the lintels (how much weight, how many feet
    high)?Why are you replacing them?

Without more information, to take on the liability of pinning a
structure, resupporting a load, shoring, etc I can't imagine
touching the job for $500 each. Are you the type to sue or refuse
to pay if there is any cracking of the masonry overhead?

3 feet wide, sure is a thick wall. How long is it?

Reminds me of the (insert favorite nationality here) joke about landing on a
runway at an airport the pilot has never been to. They aborted the first
landing because the runway was too short. After extreme braking measures on
the second attempt they manage to stop the plane just in time. Pilot says
"this is a very short runway" and the co-pilot responds "but it sure is
    wide".

Be sure to order dry lentils. I tried to do this job with soaked
lentils and it didn't work well at all.
