Afternoon All
This is my first "post" so apologies if i don't follow the correct etiquette.
Basically, after several years of use our attic hatch key doesn't work as it should; it's not totally broken but isn't far off! As far as i can determine i think that the keyhole (for want of a better term) or key (metal, square head approx length = 800mm to allow reach to ceiling height from 1st floor landing) itself has worn and thus no longer makes the correct contact subsequently preventing the mechanism to work properly.
Has anyone over come this problem i.e. by means of repairing either the keyhole or key or is my only option to buy a new key, if so, from where?
Thanks in advance for any / all assistance.
