Insider Heat Pump

Discussion in 'HVAC' started by Skip & Regina, Dec 21, 2005.

  1. I am trying to locate the schematic drawing for an Insider Heat pump model
DHP29 serial number 7E0025. This is a unit that is in a friends house and
it does not work correctly. It is obvious that wiring is not the way it is
supposed to be, but without the drawing, it is impossible to correct. Any
    help would be appreciated.

Any legitimate company can sit down, look it over, and wire it correctly.

Tell your "friend" to call a tech to fix it. You might blow his house up,
kill his family, and then he might get mad at you.

A local HVAC company did come and look at it and stated that it had a bad
relay and the unit needed to be released since they could not find a
replacement. $3000.00 was the price tag. Someone already wired the unit to
make up for the stuck relay and the result was a unit that on EMERG HEAT
energizes the strip heaters but does not start the blower. In as far as
'blow up his house,' someone else has already given that their best shot.

More like a "loose nut" behind the keyboard.

In that case Oscar changes his post to read.

"Call a PROFESSIONAL in or you WILL Burn the house down!"

What they called was not a professional but a salesman.
