How to anchor cabinet to wall when not flush to wall?

We just got a nice cabinet set/workbench for the garage. We need to anchor the cabinets to the wall, but there is gap between the wall and the back of the cabinets (when garage was made, a concrete foundation was poured, and the walls built on top of that but not flush with it). The concrete is about 12" high and about 3" deep from the wall. The cabinets are pushed back against the concrete and flush at the bottom, but there is that gap at the top. We are planning to anchor the bottom of the cabinets into the concrete, but the top has the 3" gap. What options are available, any ideas?

You could anchor the top of the cabinet through a block of wood the same width as the gap (painted to match perhaps?) - that would be most stable. Anchor bolts or even just screws/wall plugs depending on load. Or, you could use a strap tie between the top of the cabinet and the wall - this would be primarily for stopping the cabinet from tipping, rather than for stability.
