Hello
I have a Hotpoint Aquarius DWF50S dishwasher which has started acting erratically. On any programme it will start by turning the pump on and emptying water (OK), it then fills, does nothing for a short time then empties in stages with the pump turning on for a few seconds, then stopping for a few seconds, cycling in this manner. That's it, that's all it does and no error lights are showing.
Is this a pcb fault? If not can anyone advise please?
Many thanks
Gerry.

Dishwashers have a drain valve that is connected to a electric solenoid. in my opinion the solenoid mat have stuck. You need to use a clean , damp cloth to free the solenoid and use any lubricant on it.
