It can be tricky to find ways to decorate and make a house a home if you rent. Many landlords don't allow you to paint or use wallpaper for decorating. One fantastic way to add some depth, design, and color to your space is to use large pieces of art. From statues or sculptures to large paintings. If you can't hang a painting, stand it on the floor and lean it against the wall or place it on top of a large piece of furniture and lean it against the wall.

You can add colour and texture in so many ways...pillows and blankets are great for a cozy, homey feel. You can switch them up easily as well. You can also take advantage of shelf and surface space to add items that both decorate and store things :).

Good ideas. Cozy too.

I change up throws and pillows and stuff fairly often. I'm just bored I guess.

I plan to start redecorating the whole house, after the holidays, so I'm always open to ideas.
