I recently bought a kit that contains frame attachments and instructions on what all size boards he'll need to get. It said nothing about a floor. Any suggestions on what to do for a floor?

I have put together a couple of prefab outdoor storage sheds (metal and cedar). Unfortunately the kits rarely come with a floor. I would recommend building a platform for the shed. Depending on the size and the location (terrain) you can frame the floor with 2x4s or 2x6s and put plywood on top then the shed on that. As you will be walking on it 5/8" or 3/4" tongue and groove plywood would be recommended.

If it is just a garden shed, a gravel bed can also serve as a floor. This option is good if you will be wheeling in garden tools frequently like a lawn mower.
